Filters

Another lesson learned today.  Even overcast I had a heck of a time preventing washout at slower shutter speeds.  I have a CP filter but my ND filter that I ordered a week ago would have been perfect on top of the CP filter or instead of.  Will have to head back out and experiment.  Another lesson learned... the "Cloudy" setting on my camera turns everything warmer.  Might not be necessary or maybe have to adjust the amount of saturation.  Also may have to time it so I hit the falls at sunset.  Risk of that is a long walk back with the potential of bug swarms and/or snake bites with the possibility of being stuck in out with no light.  Might

Photo Editing

I think I've figured out my problem.  It's not the pictures so much that are the problem themselves.  It's the post processing.  My camera is capturing the shots fine... but the images are not coming out as I see the world.  I've got this odd obsession with darkness and vivid color.  I know, it's a bit of a contradiction.  So my new project for a while is going to be to go back through my images and try some new things with Paintshop Photo Pro X3 Ultimate.  Yeah I know it's a cheap program but until my hobby figures out a way to pay $2k for a better program it's what I am using.

3D Continued...

You've posted some really dynamic images here. They are phrenically catchy...
thanks for the fave
Not generally a fan of the written word as art but a few of you can say so much with so few short words that it spins my brain. I like my brain spinning. *grin*
Thank You very much for the watch
No problem. I really like your photography and am a bit jealous. ;^]
